Chargers Women's Basketball Camps
Krista Stricklin is in her first season as the assistant coach of the UAH women’s basketball program.
Stricklin comes to Huntsville after finishing her four-year career as a player at Samford where she played for current UAH head coach Andrea Lemmond for two seasons.
A four-year starter for the Bulldogs, Stricklin appeared in more than 120 games while at Samford, and she scored more than 700 points and grabbed more than 500 rebounds during her career. She was additionally a member of Samford's student-athlete advisory committee while also finding time to be involved in the university's student ministries.
Prior to Samford, Stricklin was a three-sport athlete at Hayden High School as she was a member of the track and field and cross country teams in addition to playing basketball.
Stricklin graduated from Samford with a degree in fitness and health promotion including a minor in nutrition, and her experience in that field includes serving as a strength and conditioning intern at UAB and working as a coach at Iron Tribe Fitness in Huntsville.
